It's been weeks since that confrontation with Alexander. I haven't heard anything from him. He wasn't even attending the family dinner anymore. I've been out with Lucas for a couple of times now. It's sad to say how incompatible we are. We don't have chemistry. I think he notices it too but he's trying to ignore it. I'm impressed with his consistency and patience though. I could see how he's trying to work things out between us.
With the wedding coming in three months, which happens to be after my charity gala, my days are quite busy. I've been occupied with finalizing the event and at the same time preparing for my wedding. I'm just thankful for it though because it keeps me out from thinking of Alexander.
