I knew exactly where this was headed the moment I stepped into his room.
The air was thick with so many emotions. hurt, confusion, raw need. His eyes were dark, stormy, flicking over me like he couldn’t help himself. My skin burned under that look. My pulse thrummed low and insistent between my legs.
I didn’t come here for soft words. I didn’t know how to give them anyway.
