Gianna. “Gia! Gia! Wake up!” The voice echoed in my head, distant but urgent. My eyes flew open, my heart pounding. Rue was leaning over me, shaking my shoulder. “Finally,” she sighed in relief. I blinked, trying to make sense of where I was. My sheets were tangled around my legs, my skin damp with sweat. That dream… Someone had been there with me—a girl. I couldn’t see her face, but her voice… it sounded so familiar. Just a dream, I told myself.
