Chapter 5

"Lily open the door" Jerome shouted" I won't open up"she replied ,"Let her be " Lady silva said as she gently tapped Jerome's shoulder and gestured for him to leave, it was time to go. She knew he didn't like to listen to his sister but she had a feeling that if she tried to explain everything in great detail, he wouldn't just leave. He was reluctant but he left and so did his mother leaving Lily all alone with her thoughts.

She sighed and sat on the bed. This wasn't going to be easy.

she took off her shoes and slept.

Liveta stormed into Damson as soon as she got back to her palace, he was the exact person she wanted to see, dragging him by the hand and taking him to the garden of the palace. He looked shocked but she ignored him. Once they arrived, she released him and he stood next to her, looking around confused.

"Now I know you're probably thinking that i have some type of explanation for you" Liveta said in an accusatory tone,"But it doesn't matter what your reasoning is, suddenly her tone went from accusatory to murderous , he could feel her bloodlust,

"If you so much as to look for a reason to ruin Lily's image at my wedding or purposefully sabotage my wedding to get back at Lily, i promise that will be the last day you'll walk on this earth" she Said as she stormed of leaving Damson in despair .

He felt so powerless. How did he ever think that he'd be able to do anything right? The last person to tell him he had to do something and actually listen to him was now gone, and no one was coming to help him.

Damson stood there frozen , he knew she meant every word that she spoke, he immediately called his minions to cancel their plan of infringement on the ceremony and told them to stay away. He had to make sure that this event would not end the way his plans did.

Damson walked back to his room and locked himself in the bathroom, sitting down on the floor and covering his face with his hands. The events of today seemed to come crashing down on him like a wave crashing over his head. He felt tears streaming down his cheeks, he thought that he was doing so well but now things were spiraling out of control. He couldn't stop thinking about how he let everyone down. He was always the one who kept everybody safe, protecting them against all the threats, and yet somehow he ended up being the one creating the problems, He had earlier received the letter that he was going to be Lily's assistant for the wedding planning, he saw this as a golden opportunity to mess Lily up but with his sister giving him a death warning because it was no threat, he had to stop his schemes in their tracks, but this didn't subside his hatred for Lily,he grew even more resentful ,he felt Lily was the reason for his sister's attitude towards him, he wad still oblivious to the fact that it was the recompense of his own making.

"I'll wait till after the wedding, then I'll pass my judgement upon you Lily silva " he said with resentment seeping from every word
