Chapter 3

More than anything Lily wanted revenge on Damson for using her weakness against her,"What a coward" she muttered as she paced around her room, her green night gown with a satin lace around her waist complimented her crimson hair tied into a neat bun, "How could he?" Just then a knock came from her door ," who is it?" she asked in complacency, when the door opened revealing her mother."It's me dear." She said in response to Lily's questioning look.

Lily's face brightened up when she saw her mother and gave her mother a hug "I missed you mom." She smiled at her mother." i heard about what happened yesterday honey" her mom said gently grabbing her hand and sitting at the edge of the bed, " i know it must be hard on you, but it was a joke, please let it go" her mom added, Lily's facial expression changed as though she was faced with Damson 's ugly mug "I hate him so much." She seethed her mother's eyes softened."He doesn't deserve your forgiveness darling, I know it seems like it but you need to stop thinking of him so negatively, he wasn't always this way" she replied softly while looking down, Lily nodded her head in agreement. "I want to make him suffer as much as I did." She stated determined, her mother sighed knowing that this wasn't going to be easy, but nevertheless she consoled her even more with a warm hug,"Alright, enough about Damson and get dressed, let's head into town for some shopping" Lily agreed with a nod of her head.

After getting out of bed Lily quickly got ready to meet her mother downstairs where they ate breakfast before heading to their local mall. "This should take us hours mom." Lily told her mother excitedly. After finishing their breakfast they left their home and headed towards the mall.

They both were very happy and relaxed after spending most of their day together. When they arrived at the mall they immediately walked towards the store, Lily being a bit too impatient to wait for her mother to grab whatever she needed first. As they entered the store Lily spotted something shiny near the bottom shelf, "Hey mum there' s something over here" Lily exclaimed while pointing at the shiny object. Her mother looked down and gasped once she noticed what it was "Oh my god!" Lily turned around in confusion "what is it mom?" She asked while walking back to her mother. As her mom opened up to speak,Lily took another glance at the shelf and caught a reflection of what looked like Damson, she turned around as though she was tapped by a ghost "Is that Damson?" Lily whispered to herself, her mother turned around and shook her head "No no, that's not Damson, that's just a mirror." Lily slowly nodded her head "Right... right..." She whispered as if she were remembering something "Mom?" She called out, her mother snapped back into reality "Hmm... what did you say Lily?" She asked confused, Lily stared at her for a moment before replying "Oh nothing really just-" But before she could finish her sentence the two heard a familiar voice from behind them, "Hello ladies." They both turned around and saw Damson standing there in all his glory, "Damson!"Lily said as though she was about to take a bite out of him . Damson looked at the two women, his blue eyes glazed over in thought, "Hello." He murmured before turning to walk away, Lily couldn't help but notice how Damson walked like a predator in the woods, his eyes fixed on something far off.

"You know you don't have to follow me everywhere do you?" Damson spoke, his voice sounding deeper than usual.

Lily stopped dead in her tracks and spun around to look at him, "Excuse me? What are you implying?" She retorted crossing her arms across her chest, Damson rolled his eyes " , " we both know you can't stay away from me, it isn't your fault ,Lily couldn't believe her ears , as she looked at Damson from the top of his hair to the shoes he was wearing, she gave a sinister laugh that had Damson look at himself and the store customers stare at him as though he was covered in mud, as lily walked towards him her footsteps echoed throughout the store,for the first time Damson felt intimidated as though he was in the presence of the King " you aren't worthy to bear the blunt of my words, so take back what you said or I'll be forced to relay judgement on you for your inhumane prank yesterday " Lily said in an emotionless tone as her mother watched in awe , "I'm sorry" Damson said without presence of mind," Good boy" ,Lily said as she patted him on the shoulder and made her way to the counter with her mom ," what was that about, Lily?" her mom asked in amazement "my revenge" Lily said feeling accomplished.

When Damson came to his senses,Lily was gone he then realized he had inadvertently apologized,he was shocked,furious and furthermore embarrassed, " Lily Silva, relish your victory, but it will be shortlived ". " But" he thought to himself "where did that frightful aura come from.

At the palace Liveta had come over for their daily dose of girly scheming,Liveta burst into laughter as she listened to Lily narrate the drama that ensued at the store, The breeze blew calmly across the garden as it rushed through their hair, the flower petals gave a sweet and aromatic scent to the garden house where the ladies sat to drink tea and scheme " i told you all you had to do was intimidate him and he'll be short of words" Liveta giggled as she wiped tears forming in her eyes ."You're such a silly girl, he is so infuriating" Lily scowled, "I know, that's why i plan to use his pride and vanity against him". Liveta placed her teacup on its saucer, "and how exactly is that?" she questioned." You see Liveta, all that is required to break Damson's facade is to get rid of his ego" she explained, "he is just a man living in a world of men, so if we make him feel like he doesn't matter to anyone else then maybe he won't be so arrogant anymore." Lily said looking like a counselor," woooow " liveta said as she picked up her tea cup and saucer, " But we both know he'll be back for his revenge" she added " and I'll be ready to answer "Lily said im determination

" I'll make sure to exploit his weakness".
