*Lucas' POV* 

The twins will not stop giving me the evil eye. We are currently on our way to go get back my mate back. Noah has reasoned with me, he is still not happy that Kat has gotten kidnapped. Mason, Jason are arguing who is better looking and I just can't wait to see my mate. We are getting closer to where we found out that Damon was keeping her. It was a four hour drive to fight Damon and get my mate back. Finally we are about 20 minutes to where they are at. As we got out of the car I have Noah, Mason, Jason, Jax, Ethan and a few hundred warriors from mine and my mates pack. We are strategizing how we are going to get in and out without Kat getting hurt. "Lucas.." I faintly heard my mates voice in my head. "My love I am so sorry I am coming to get you." I sighed in relief to hear her voice. "Lucas honey you have to make sure you are careful me and Lilith are not very strong we need you." That was all I need to get the right motivation to hurry and get my mate. "I am coming to get you my love I promise I am going to get you." I say in mind link and she whispers a faint I love you and the mind link cut off. 

"All right everyone It is time to go save my mate and your Luna." Everyone howled with joy as we shifted and through mind link I told everyone their parts of the plan. As we ran through the forest, we came to a stop when we seen a pack of rouges and one scent stood out from the rest of them and I knew exactly who it is. I shifted into my human form and yelled "Come one Damon. Lets put what happened behind us and give me my mate back." He shifted from his dark brown wolf into his human form. "Lucas this will not be over until you are dead and I have control over the pack." I sighed knowing he was right. This will not be over until one of us is dead. I mind linked Jax. "Jax when the fight starts I want you to go and find your Luna. Do you understand." His reply was "Yes Alpha" I look back towards Damon and yelled "If it is a fight you want then it will be a fight you will get." He shifted and howled to his rouge pack. I shifted and howled to my pack. 

As we ran into battle and I ran after Damon. Wolves were dying left and right. I couldn't tell if it was my wolves or the rouges that were dying. Finally I came face to face with Damon. He lunged at me trying to get ahold of my neck but I was to fast. I dodged him and snap at his neck in the process. I pinned him down and sunk my canines into his neck making him yelp. Once I knew he was weak enough I shifted back to my human form. "SHIFT" I say to him. his wolf whimpers and shifts back into his human form. "I am going to give you one more chance you may have left the pack but I will always be your Alpha." he is still whimpering and he shows his neck as a sign of submission. I let my claws come out and sliced his throat with them. "May the goddess have mercy on your soul." I say in a very low. Just then Jax mind linked me. "Alpha I found Luna but we need to get her to a doctor." I growled and looked around "Ethan I need you too count how many we lost alright." He nodded his head. Just as Jax was coming out with Kat I looked to my right when I heard a loud painful howl coming from the twins. "Guys what is wrong. Where is Noah?" I ask them and they looked up with sad eyes and turned to look at the ground next to them and I seen his body all bloody and bruised. I heard a soft gasp and whimpers "No... No …. Lucas tell me that is not who I think it is." I look over to see my mate with tears streaming down her face. I ran over to her and picked her up from falling "Jax I am going to get her please make sure everyone else gets back to the pack house." I tell him through mind link. He nods his head and goes to help the twins with Noahs body. 

As we make it back to the pack house Kat has passed out from crying. I feel so bad for my love she just  lost her brother and she has been held captive for five days. We finally pulled up to the pack house and I seen Alpha Nik and Luna Ava. Luna Ava looks like she has been crying for hours and Alpha Nik looks like he is about to go on a killing spree. I stopped the car and Kat started to move around I quickly shut off the car and got out running to get my mate to the pack doctor. Once I got Kat out of the car Ava seen how bad she looked and started crying even more. "Is that son of a b***h dead!" Nik asked more as a statement then a question. "Yes he is dead sir but there is other news as well...." I stopped as the rest of the packs showed up. The injured were immediately got taken to the pack hospital. I also had Jax take Kat to the doctor told him that the doctor needed to take care of her first before everyone else. As he left the twins pulled up my heart started to beat faster. "Now listen before they get out there is something that I have to tell the both of you." Ava and Nik looked at me before they looked to the car "Well spit it out boy don't just stand there looking stupid." Nik yells. "Something happened while the fight was going on and if you want to be mad at me that is fine if you want to hate me then hate me I can deal with it but Noah...." Ava dropped to her knees and started screaming "NOOOOO!!!!!!!! No... nooooo…..no not my baby please tell me that he is okay. I knew I shouldn't have let them come." At that moment the twins got out of the car and you can see the tear stains on their faces. "Mom he.. he jumped in front of a rouge. He... He..... he saved me its all my fault, I am so sorry mom." Jason said as he broke down crying on his knees. Ava went over to him and grabbed him and slowly brushed his hair. "My sweet sweet boy it is not fault. These things happen. Lets just go inside and go check on your sister. He died to save you and your sister." She kissed his forehead as we all made our way to the pack hospital wing. We were all in tears in the waiting room I felt like I couldn't breathe not knowing if she was okay or not. 

We have been in the waiting room for what seems like hours until a doctor came out. "Is she alright what is going on."  Everyone was yelling all the questions at the doctor. "I would like to speak to the Alpha." the doctor said in a calm voice as me and Nik stepped up "Alphas Katherina is in a medical induced coma. Whoever did this had her dosed up with so much wolfsbane that if you guys would have waited any longer to get her here, I am afraid her wolf would had died from how much was in her bloodstream." I sighed "Can I see her." The doctor nodded his head and said "Only a few people at a time." Ava, Nik, Mason, Jason and I walked into her room I rushed over to her and grabbed her hand tears ran down everyone's faces. "I am so sorry my love. Please just please come back to me." I whispered to her. "How did she even get taken by this person in the first place?" I sighed and looked up to Alpha Nik. "She was angry with me and didn't want to see me. I walked outside and she went for a run to avoid me. Next th..thing I knew I heard her scream. When we went to see what happened when we found the letter and I knew exactly who it was. His name is... was Damon Hall." "Damon Hall and in Damon Hall your ex gamma," Alpha Nik said to me and I simply nodded my head "He is dead I killed him with my bare hands."
