From Darkness to the Light

*Kat's POV*

Everything is like a endless amount of darkness. I have been in this darkness for what seems like forever. All I want to do is go home. I hear a faint voice and I try to find where it is coming from but it feels like it is too far for me to find. Suddenly I feel like I am being pulled to something or someone. I am sitting near a beautiful pond with the moon light and the stars shining bright. All of a sudden I hear the most beautiful voice ever. I turn around and seen the most beautiful woman standing near me. "Hello Miss Katherina." she says to me. "Who are you miss." She chuckles and said "I am known as many names Luna of the moon, Moon Goddess, and many other but you my dear can call me Selene." I look at her with the most shock ever. "I am so sorry Selene... " "What are you sorry for my child." she says to me in a calming voice. "For everything, my brother dying, Lucas going fighting wolves dying. Everything is my fault." I say to her with sadness in my voice and in my eyes. She looked at me with a small smile "My dear child there is nothing to be sorry for. Noah died trying to save you and Lucas is your mate he will always fight for you." She sat next to me "Katherina you have to understand I chose you for a reason." I looked at her with confusion "I chosen you to be Lucas' mate because I want him to change his ways and the ways of his pack and I know with you by his side he will change for the better." she said to me I couldn't help but chuckle at that. "Selene I just want to go home I can't stay here anymore. I don't know how long I have been here and if Noah had a funeral. Please I just want to go home to my family." I looked at her with tears in my eyes. "I will get you home but I need you to be ready to win the war and to do that you will need your mate by your side. Do you understand me?" she said to me and I looked up to her. "Selene what war and how will I get home from here I am stuck." I say to her and she gives me a chuckles and says "Oh dear child all you need to do is listen to the sound of your mates voice and the war is between good and evil you and your mate are a perfect balance of it. Soon you will have to go to battle and it will not be pleasant, many wolves will die but it is up to you to fight and win." I sigh "All I have to do is listen for his voice and I wont be alone anymore" I say. "Yes my child and before I leave I want to give you this advise." She looks to me and scooted closer to me and made sure that I was paying attention to her. "Be strong when you are weak, brave when you are scared, and humble when you are victorious." I smile "I will win this war and I will make you proud." With that she faded away and I was left in darkness. I tried to focus with everything I had to try and hear my mates voice. It seems like hours and I still couldn't hear anything. Just when I started to give up hope I slowly heard the sound of my mates voice. "Kitty please come back to me." He kept saying that over and over again. I followed the path to where I heard his voice and I saw a small light at the end. Suddenly I felt like I was getting pulled out of the darkness. I opened my eyes just to slam them shut again because of the bright light. I slowly opened my eyes again, I felt sparks running up my arm from my hand I look down to see what the warmth was. I seen my very handsome yet very tired looking mate. He grew a small beard and it looks like he has gotten skinnier like he has not ate in months. "Please kitten I just need you to come back to me my love." I couldn't help but smile at him. I looked around the room and seen that I was hooked up to a bunch of machines and I was in a hospital room. I looked back at Lucas and seen tear stains on his face. "He has ben crying" I thought to myself and I heard the one voice I haven't heard in so long and goddess how I missed her. "Oh course he has been crying dumbass he is our mate." Lilith says to me. "Lilith oh thank god you are okay I have missed you so much." I say to her and she chuckles " I have missed you too Kat but I think it is time you let our mate know we are awake." I guess she is right. I turn my head back to my mate. "Lucas.." I say but realized that my voice sounded horrible. Once Lucas heard my voice he jumped up. "Kat oh Kat baby how are you feeling?" he ask as he pulls me into a hug. "water" I managed to get out. He understood that my throat was really dry from not speaking for goddess knows how long. "Here you go my love." He says to me and puts a cup of water up to my lips and I gulped down the whole cup. 

*Third POV*

As Kat was drinking the water Lucas looked at her in awe. Kat couldn't help but wonder how long has she been asleep. She looked up to Lucas and said "Lucas I need to know, how long?" She can tell that it has been awhile because he has a beard and he looks skinnier. He sighed and looked at her "Two..." "Two says, two weeks?" He sighed one more time and said "Two months Kat." She looked like she wanted to cry. "And Noah?" she questioned. He sighed and tears started to form in her eyes "He really died huh I didn't just dream that did I?" she said to him. "No my love you didn't dream that. He had a very beautiful funeral you parents...." he stopped mid sentence. "s**t your parents they are here I will go get them." he said and stood up. She quickly grabbed his hand and smiled "You can get them in a little I just want to spend some time with you right now." she said to him. He smiled and sat back next to her and they talked about everything that she missed. She knew that she will have to tell him sooner or later about the upcoming war but she just wanted a little bit of time alone with him before the chaos. After hours of talking Kat was finally ready to see her parents and while everyone pilled into the room she knew that she needed to tell them. "Guys I need to say something." her small voice filled the room. Everyone turned to face her with concern in their eyes. She knew it was now or never. "What is it Kat?" Her mother questioned and Lucas squeezed her hand to let her know that it was okay to go on and that he was there for her. So she said "Guys there is a war coming."
