The celebrations start as soon as we get down for breakfast. There are already a few guests present, family members, who don’t live inside the Castle or in Gunguru.
Eros happens to be the centre of attention, so I feel a bit uncomfortable sitting next to him. I would kill for a moment of peace and quiet, but it seems like my wish isn’t going to come true anytime soon.
People keep coming into the Castle until lunch time. Not only distant relatives, but also important citizens, like judges, lawyers, even healers with their families. I even recognize some of Gunguru’s Guardians, who all came to celebrate Eros’s birthday. But I am the most surprised, as I spot four familiar faces step through the South gate.
