I don’t know why, or how, but I find myself returning to the dungeons after supper. Everything seems so much darker, like all the light has been sucked out of the world. I conjure a flame in my hand, to see where I’m going.   I head down that ancient spiral staircase once again, but before I even turn the corner, I realize something is off. I can feel a slight breeze on my exposed skin, one that I didn’t feel before. As my eyes fall on the scene in front of me, I can barely keep myself from screaming out loud.   The four Guardians are all lying on the ground, motionless, with dry blood on their necks.
