Chapter 14 Tim
Just as Tim is walking outside to go and grab something to eat, he watches the gate open in the distance and sees the girls stepping into one of those over-the-top limousines. The nice and rosy feeling he had from his visit to the terrace has vanished at once. His poor detective salary can’t compete with that much luxury. The feeling of defeat disappears as soon as he admonishes himself. ‘Don’t be so stupid Tim, you know damn well that those girls are not the type that go for luxury. They are just regular, hardworking girls who like to enjoy the luxury they normally can’t afford for themselves.’ He is curious to know how they ended up in that limousine and enjoys in advance on the stories they will tell him, in sights and sounds, tomorrow.
