Chapter 23 Miranda
In the meantime, almost two weeks have passed since our holiday in Gran Canaria. This morning I thought: how come the last two weeks before and the first two weeks after a holiday are always so busy.
To be fair, one should have to have a week of rest in between two ordinary working weeks. Instead of that it seems as though you try to jam the week preceding your holiday twice or triple into that week. To top it off, the first couple of weeks seem to be extra busy as well. Is that something everybody experiences, I wonder, while I am in the kitchen again with a flushed head.
I just got the last batch of cupcakes out of the oven when ‘Halv su wild’ by BAP sounds through the room.
