Chapter 31 Miranda
Happy to be finally in bed, I think over this past day. We had an emergency palaver with the girls yesterday evening, but of course we had to keep each other informed during the day. Besides that I also had a children’s party today. I am exhausted.
Kim had a much luckier stroke yesterday. That Hansen guy seemed to be a lot more accessible than that Michelson fellow I was stuck with. When we exchanged stories at the end of the afternoon, it quickly turned out to be that Kim had quite an animated conversation with both Hansen and female colleague. Not so strict and all. She does have to admit, when looking back at it, that ‘her detectives’ also have done quite a professional interrogation. The difference is that she never felt as if she was a crook.
