Chapter 11 : The Mask He Wears

601 Words
Rajveer 's Point of view As I stood in front of Ayesha, my heart racing with excitement, I couldn't help but think back to the first time I saw her. It was at a high-society party, where the who's who of the city had gathered to see and be seen. I was there with my family, trying to make a name for ourselves in the business world. That's when I saw her – Ayesha, a vision in white, her dark hair cascading down her back like a waterfall at night. She was wearing high black heels that made her legs seem endless, and her smile could light up a room. She was laughing and chatting with her family, her eyes sparkling like diamonds in the light. I was immediately drawn to her, feeling an inexplicable connection that I couldn't quite explain. But fate had other plans. I couldn't muster the courage to approach her that night, and before I knew it, the evening was over, and she was gone. I was left with only a memory, a fleeting glimpse of a girl who had captured my heart. Years went by, and I thought I'd never see her again. But fate had other plans. I was standing in my own baking school, watching a group of students learn the art of pastry-making, when I saw her walk in. Ayesha, the girl who had haunted my dreams for years, was standing in front of me, looking more beautiful than I remembered. I was awestruck, my heart skipping a beat as I tried to process the fact that she was standing in my school, in my domain. But I didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable, so I kept my distance, watching her from afar as she interacted with the other students. I didn't want her to know that I was the owner of the school, not yet. I wanted to observe her, to see if the connection I felt all those years ago was still there. And now, as I stood in front of her, asking her out on a date, I couldn't believe my luck. Ayesha, the girl who had captured my heart, was saying yes to me. Me, Rajveer, the guy who had once been too afraid to talk to her, was now taking her out on a romantic evening. As I looked at her, I felt a pang of guilt. I was hiding things from her, secrets that could change everything between us. But I pushed the thought aside, convincing myself that it was all worth it. I would do anything to see her happy, to help her achieve her dreams, even if it meant sacrificing my own desires. "I'd give up my own happiness, my own life, if it meant she could have hers," I thought to myself, the words echoing in my mind like a promise. I knew it wasn't the right thing to do, but I couldn't help the way I felt. Ayesha was more than just a friend to me; she was the missing piece to my puzzle, the beat to my rhythm. And I would do anything to keep her by my side. As I took her hand, feeling her soft skin against mine, I knew that I would walk through fire and brimstone to make her happy. I would be her rock, her shelter, her safe haven. And if that meant hiding the truth from her, then so be it. "I'll do whatever it takes, Ayesha," I whispered to myself, the words a silent vow. "I'll do whatever it takes to make you mine."
