As Lexi worked in the kitchen, Mrs. Jenkins watched her every move, her eyes critical. "You'll need to learn the rules of the house," she said, her voice stern.

Lexi nodded, eager to please. "What are the rules?" she asked.

Mrs. Jenkins handed her a small booklet. "Read this," she said. "It outlines your duties and responsibilities while you're living here."

Lexi took the booklet, scanning the pages. The rules were strict and detailed, outlining everything from her daily routine to her interactions with Don.

As she read, Lexi felt a growing sense of unease. She was trapped in this mansion, forced to live by Don's rules. And what happened if she broke those rules?

She looked up to see Mrs. Jenkins watching her, a stern expression on her face. "Do you understand the rules?" she asked.

Lexi nodded, feeling a sense of resignation. "Yes," she said. "I understand."

Mrs. Jenkins nodded, seeming to relax slightly. "Good," she said. "I'll be keeping an eye on you. Make sure you follow the rules."
