Episode 6: "The Resistance"
Lexi's newfound determination ignited a fire within her. She began to subtly defy Don's rules, testing the boundaries of her captivity. She would take longer to complete her chores, or intentionally leave a mess in the kitchen.
Mrs. Jenkins, ever vigilant, noticed the changes in Lexi's behavior. She reported back to Don, who summoned Lexi to his study.
"You're becoming a problem, Lexi," Don said, his eyes narrowing. "I thought we had an understanding."
Lexi stood tall, her heart pounding. "I understand that I'm a prisoner," she said, her voice steady. "But I won't be treated like a slave."
Don's face darkened, and for a moment, Lexi thought she had gone too far. But then, something unexpected happened. Don smiled.
"I like your spirit, Lexi," he said. "It's been a long time since anyone has challenged me."
Lexi's eyes narrowed. What game was Don playing now?
"I'll make you a deal," Don said, leaning forward. "If you can prove yourself to be obedient, I'll give you more freedom. You can leave the mansion, go shopping, see friends."
Lexi's heart skipped a beat. Was this a trick?
"What do I have to do?" she asked, her voice cautious.
Don's smile grew wider. "I'll give you a task," he said. "If you complete it, I'll give you your freedom."
Lexi hesitated, unsure of what to do. But something about Don's words resonated with her. She nodded, agreeing to play along.
"What's the task?" she asked, her heart pounding.
Don's eyes glinted with amusement. "I'll tell you soon enough," he said. "But for now, let's just say that it will require... creativity."
Lexi's eyes narrowed. What had she just gotten herself into?
