Dash was pissed. I lost her. How did I lose her? I didnt even think our mate would trick us like that. I hated her. This rogue wolf was causing so much trouble in my life. I didn't want a mate. My mother pressed for a mate but my mother was not going to accept her. I learned to be humble from school but she pisses me off. I just wanted to come home to take Alpha and defeat the rogues. I was not here to find a mate.
As soon as I saw her sitting by the creek, I calmed down. Dash calmed down. Drew was still anxious. He's not her mate, so he doesn't feel the mate bond just what feelings has grown inside his heart. He was sitting on the ground finally, but he was not taking his eyes off her. The moon was providing a little bit of light but I knew we couldn't sit out here all night.
