My conversation with Asmodeus means a lot to me. I had been carrying around a lot of pain and resentment from my past, and Asmodeus played a significant role in it. However, our conversation allowed me to make peace with my past and find it in my heart to forgive him.
But despite everything, I am not going to accept Asmodeus' offer for us to be a family. While his offer may be tempting, and he may have shown remorse for his past actions, I have made the decision to keep my distance.
Forgiveness is a powerful tool, but it does not necessarily mean that we need to reconcile with those who have hurt us. Forgiveness is about letting go of the excess baggage that we carry within us, such as anger, resentment, and bitterness, and freeing ourselves from the hold they have over us.
