KENNEDY I TOSSED and turned in bed all night, plagued by thoughts of Asmodeus and the complicated feelings he stirred within me. My mind was in turmoil, replaying memories of our past and the pain that came with them. I opened my eyes to a dim and cloudy morning, feeling more exhausted than when I went to bed. Despite my weariness, I decided to get up and prepare some breakfast for my kids. I went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth , and brush my hair. After that, I went back to the walk-in closet and changed my clothes. I was mentally reminding myself to call the school and let them know that the twins can't attend classes because of what happened. I went out of the room, feeling a bit lightheaded as I made my way to the kitchen. The silence of the house was comforting
