Reunited Affair

Eun-Ae The wolf I had encountered seemed to know who I was. Which meant his pack was nearby and I was not going to stand around and wait for them to find me now that their packmate was sitting dead at my feet. “Might as well take his liver and heart, it’s not like he’s going to need it.” I snickered as I drove my claws into his chest and fished around for the organs I wanted. A voice shouted from the treeline, “Lim, where the hell did you go? Jung is going to be mad as hell if you don't report ...back.” I shifted, grabbing my clothes with my mouth. I took off into the forest, not looking back. “I’m damned if I do and damned if I don't.” I grumbled as I hopped over fallen trees and bushes. A large grey wolf jumped onto the pathway in front of me, making me skid to a stop. I stared at him with raised brows. Was this the wolf that murdered me a hundred years ago? The wolf before me took a step forward, shifted, and confirmed my suspicion. Jung’s grey eyes stared down at me as a smirk worked its way across his lips. His toned body flexed as he wrapped his tail around his waist to cover himself from me. “So, you are back.” I shifted, wrapping my tails around my body since I did not want to take the time to change and leave myself vulnerable to any attacks. “And so I am. What is it you need from me this time, Jung?” Placing his hands on his hips he raised a brow at me. “I need you.” He stated, lowering his head. His jet black hair fell over his shoulders. My eyes went wide. I was confused by his statement. “What do you mean you need me? Don’t you wolves have mates destined to you by the Moon goddess or something?” “I did have a mate but she was useless. Once she heard that I took your mothers pearl, she refused to take the one I got from your father and ended up dying a few years back. So instead of trying to find another mate or choose one of these mangey women, I want you.” My face contorted into one of disgust, “After you tried to kill me a hundred years ago? After your pack killed my parents? Are you insane?” I shouted, stepping toward him. He shrugged his shoulders as if none of what he just told me was no big deal. “I'm surprised your memory is still intact since you’ve been dead all this time.” I narrowed my eyes at him, “You bastard. I wasn’t even dead. When you metaphorically kill one of us and we still have our pearls we go into a deep sleep. Not death.” “Then why did it take you a hundred years to come back?” He asked, his eyes raked over me. I scowled at him, crossing my arms over my chest. “Did you not rip my throat out when you killed me? Or did you just s***h my chest into tiny pieces? I don’t remember much but the amount of damage you issued even after I submitted to you? I had to heal and since I was underground with no food, that took a lot longer for me to do.” Jung scoffed, taking a step toward me. “You know, it’s hard to look at you. Standing there with your arms folded. It’s as if you’re mad at me for something I had no choice in.” I took in a deep breath, c*****g my head to the side as he spoke. His voice was smooth but I couldn’t fall for a wolf who not only killed my parents and took their pearls and killed me only to have him come back and find him ‘in love’ with me. “Look, if you were the last wolf on this planet I still wouldn’t stick by your side, and would you please cover up. I don’t want to see your–” I pointed to his nude body and shook my head. He smirked, stepping even closer to me. “And what if you had no choice, Eun-Ae? I could keep you here forever.” Jung's voice pulled at my heart, it was so smooth just as it was all those years ago. I hated this man for everything he was and I tried to push him away from me. His breath fanned over my cheek when I turned away. "I would do everything I could to steer clear of you at all times, Jung." His arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me to him. "And I'd always catch you little minx." My face was forcefully turned to him. His dark eyes grew with lust. I flashed my canines and growled. "You will never have me again." I sneered before I shifted, taking off into the forest with him hot on my trail. My tails gave away my position at all times, it was difficult to recall all of them but I tried to focus. I had taken my focus off of running, not realizing I was headed straight for a large oak tree and slammed into it moments later, blacking out. I had awoken hours later inside of a cave. I could hear the cracking of a fire and a stream nearby. Where was I? I groaned, holding my head as I used my other arm to push myself up from the makeshift bed on the floor. My blurry vision scanned the small space while I waited for them to focus. "What the hell is this? Where am I?" I grumbled.
