Chapter 21

Eun-Ae Dae practically dragged me toward our room, but we were stopped short due to some weird commotion going on in the throne room. We made a detour and headed there to see what was going on. I perked my ears and lifted my nose to catch any familiar scents I could. Besides the guards, I couldn't figure out who was present in the palace. I pulled my hand out of Dae-Hyun's grasp and stepped in front of him. Granted, yes, he was the king; it was my duty to protect him. "What's going on in here?" I asked, almost shouting. One of the magistrates turned to face me. "Oh, it's the king and his consort. There is nothing going on here." I turned my ears to him and flared my tails. "I don't believe you. Now, move out of the way." I commanded. "Miss, I don't mean to be rude, but this does not concern you or his majesty. Please just excuse yourself and let us take care of this." He replied. "Take care of what? What is going on in here?" Dae's voice boomed from behind me. "Move out of the way, now." The group of adults were surrounding a child who seemed scared beyond anything. I gasped and immediately ran up to him. "Omo, are you alright?" I asked the boy. He looked to be anywhere between ten and twelve years old. "Why is he covered in blood?" I shouted. "Miss, please, don't..." One of the magistrates grabbed my shoulder, causing me to turn my head and snap at him. "Don't touch me." I growled. "I-I'm, sorry, miss, but he isn't allowed to be in the palace. This boy snuck into the castle and was trying to steal from the kitchen." The magistrate's voice trembled. "It's just food. Food can always be replaced. You don't have to treat him any less than human." Dae snapped, then turned to the boy. "Unless you're a shifter." The boy nodded and cast his eyes to the floor. "I am. My mother was a fawn, but I don't know where she went. I haven't been able to find her and... I wasn't taught how to forage for my own food and I-" "Was her name Mo-Ra by chance?" I asked. He nodded frantically. "That's her. Do you know where she is? Or if she's still alive?" I smiled at the boy. "She's in the forest by the lake not too far from here. Follow the trail; you'll find her scent there." I soothed. The boy's face lit up at the information, and he shot me the biggest smile he could muster. "Thank you!" he shouted and bounced on his toes. I narrowed my eyes to the magistrate and moved the boy behind me. "If I catch any of you harming a shifter again, I will not let you live." The magistrate's eyes went wide with fear as they all nodded and scurried out of the throne room. I turned around and looked at Dae, who watched all of the magistrates leave, then shifted his attention back to me with a softened expression. "Yah, boy. You better get going. Your mom is probably worried about you." "Y-y-yes your majesty, and thank you, whoever you are." The boy turned and scurried out of the palace with Gon following behind. "Where did he come from?" I pointed at Gon. "He's always close by, don't worry. Now come I still owe you an apology." Dae smirked and grabbed my hand. What a lovely apology it was. Hours later, I was given a new hanbok, and it wasn't like any I've had before. The gorgeous blue jacket and green skirt with the added hairpins made me feel like a princess. I stopped gawking at myself in the mirror and turned my head to see Dae getting dressed in the works. He chose a matching blue and green hanbok with a black brimmed hat and black belt with a gold latch on the front. His hair was styled informally in a half up half down hairstyle. "Are we going to the festival soon? Is that why we are getting dressed up?" I asked. Dae smiled and nodded. "Yep, I had everyone working on it all day and they needed a bit more time so I chose to spend more time with you while they finished up. C'mon, let's go see how it looks." My heart fluttered he did all of this for me and I couldn't thank him enough at this point. "Are the guards in the village?" "Most of them are. But I had Gon, and some others remain here to escort us. Do you know how to ride a horse?" I had never ridden a horse before, and the thought of it made me shake. Being on something so tall would make me an easy target, but I couldn't tell him that. "Ah, no, I haven't. I usually shift and run everywhere." Dae-Hyun clicked his tongue at me. "We can ride together. I'm sure Baek wouldn't mind and maybe down the road I'll teach you how to ride." My ears perked up and my eyes widened in excitement. "Really? You'd do that for me?" "I don't see why not. I'd rather not have you running around then having to shift in a crowd of people. knowing you'd be nude and have to hide somewhere. It seems to be a pain in the ass having to do that all the time." I thought about Baek and how he would feel. "You do know that Baek is a shifter, too... right?" Dae shrugged his shoulders before extending his hand to me. "I figured he was but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. Let's get going so we have so much to see." I smiled up at him and took his hand. Dae lead me out of the room and through the palace toward the main courtyard. We stopped on the brick pathway and watched as one of the guards brought Baek out to the main walkway. Once his eyes landed on Dae he excitedly ran toward us and neighed happily. "Hi Baek, it's nice to see you again." I jumped with excitement. Baek was a beautiful black stallion and I enjoyed watching him roam. Hello Miss fox, how are you? It's been a while and I was hoping to see you soon! I know, I'm glad to see you're still alive and healthy. Your coat is gorgeous! Thank you, thank you. Will you be riding with his majesty today? I would be honored to carry you. I am. But I am nervous. please don't go too fast. Of course, I will do everything I can to keep you comfortable. I reached up and stroked his neck and turned to Dae who was smiling up at Baek. "You ready to go?" "We are." Baek turned to the side and allowed Dae to climb on first. He extended his hand to me once he was settled and offered a helping hand. I grabbed his hand and was hoisted up onto the saddle and held onto Dae as he brought his arms around me to hold the reins. "Okay, let's go." The ride was smooth and the light bouncing of Baek's trot reminded me of our long night with me bouncing in Dae's lap as I straddled him. I purred at the thought and leaned back into him. Dae-Hyun wrapped his arms around me and lowered his head into the crook of my neck, and kissed along my neck and shoulder. "What are you thinking about, Blossom?" I let out a low moan and placed my hand over his. "Everything we did last night and today. I think I'm going into heat soon." I whispered. "Does that mean I get to lock you away and have my way with you until you're satisfied?" His voice turned husky. "It is. But I won't be able to give you an heir, not until I give you one of my pearls." I replied. "We are almost to the village. Let's hide for a moment and I can quickly satisfy your urge before we have fun." I bit my lip and nuzzled into his arm. "Okay." Baek slowed his trot down to a steady walk and eventually stopped beside some bushes. "I'll leave you two for a bit. Call me back when you're ready." I stroked Baek's neck and waited for Dae to dismount before me. "Thank you." Dae reached up and helped me down, pulled me into his arms, and held me close as Baek trotted toward a stream of water off in the distance. I nuzzled into Dae's chest, purred, and clawed at his arms. My steady breath turned into panting as a course of heat washed over me in waves. Dae dropped to his knees and pulled my skirt up. "Hang on." He whispered as he lifted my leg and kissed a trail from my knee up to my inner thigh. I threw my head back, panting heavily, and gasped when his tongue gently ran across my c**t. I held back my moans as he picked up the pace. His hands snaked up around my ass as he pulled me into his mouth. I wiggled and squirmed, earning me a growl from under my skirt. I let out a cry of pleasure when he inserted two fingers into my dripping wet slit. "Oh! Your majesty slow down!" "No. You need a release. Don't hold back. If the world hears your cries then they hear your cries. Let them know you're mine." "But you were making a fuss about it just last night." "I don't care anymore. The world will know my future queen has the most beautiful voice known in existence." He replied. I threw my head back and moaned as my body became undone. Dae's lips latched onto my c**t as I climaxed. I gripped his shoulders and shuttered as he pulled his fingers from me. "That's it. Just enjoy this pleasure." He mumbled. "Your majesty, w-we need to get g-going, please. If we are here too long they will suspect something is wrong." I panted. "Not until you are finished." He growled. "I am more than satisfied right now my dear. Please." Dae pulled himself from under my skirt and licked my juices from his lips before he rose. "If you say so." He glanced around to see where Baek went and whistled for the stallion. Baek came running over and stopped beside me. We quickly climbed onto him and made our way toward the village.
