In a blink of an eye Mace was gone and she was all alone in the room. After washing her face with warm water Jessica ventured out of the room. The hallway stretched both directions with adjoining hallways. Grey tones continued into the hallway with espresso wood floors and white trim. Sparkling ceiling lights warmly lit the hallway.
Walking down the hall towards the kitchen, the sound of several male voices talking caught her attention as they echoed into the hallway. Jessica paused in front of the empty kitchen and looked down towards a door that was cracked open where the voices came from. Curious, Jessica quietly walked up to the door.
