Since my birthday is in December, I was the last of my friends to turn 18; everyone else, including my girlfriend, had already reached the milestone. As a birthday present, my parents were going to take me on a trip to Europe to see some stuff I was really interested in, like the tank museum in Bovington or the Mercedes museum. That was really nice, but that meant I wouldn't get to spend my birthday alone with my girlfriend.
