"Aren't you going to get that?," Damian asked me as I once again ignored my ringing phone. Sighing, I rolled over and stared at the screen. Kayla was calling. Rolling my eyes, I silenced the phone and kept it back down. It had been three days since the disastrous date where I basically broke up with my husband's best friend. Damian had tried to talk to me about it after that day, but I wasn't ready to listen to anything pertaining to it. We had been tense since then. I tried to pretend I wasn't bothered by Bryan's sudden absence. Even before he joined Damian and I in bed, he had been an almost constant fixture. If I didn't see him around the house with Damian, I heard him on the phone. Now, apart from the times he'd called me and I'd declined his calls, he hadn't tried to reach me. H
