Chapter 6 vampire or Hunter part 1

Rebecca stood by the window eating her ice cream while her phone started ringing

Rebecca: uh, dad how is it going.

Dan van Helsing: I would say nice except, it isn't nice! People are saying that you have been going around biting people. There have been many testimonies that you're a vampire.

Rebecca: aaaaand, you're telling me that becauuuuuuuse you believe them?

Dan van Helsing: no, I'm telling you that because, I'm expecting you to take whoever is slandering you down.

Rebecca: dad don't worry, I'm not so petty as to chase them around and argue.

Dan van Helsing: this isn't about revenge, this is your new mission. Over 3 thousand people have gone missing. The missing people are mostly college boys. The ones we did found are either turned into vampires or bitten.

Rebecca: any more details.

Dan Van Helsing: Come to headquarters and, we'll fill you in on the details.

Rebecca: Alright, I'll be there

Few minutes later

Dan: Those are the files from the latest cases. We already started interrogating some of the young adults.

Rebecca: dad I'm the one whose being framed. I'd like to do the interrogations.

Dan Van Helsing: I can't let you interrogate anyone due to that fact that you're the main suspect. However, you are allowed to help a little.

Rebecca: thanks dad, it means a lot.

Rebecca's dad entered one of the interrogation rooms with her. In the room the was a boy in his early 20s tied up in a chair. As soon as she got in the boy looked at her with fear in his eyes.

Dan van Helsing: This is one of the boys.

Newly turned vampire: her... you... it was her. I remember it clearly. You're the strange woman who bit me.

Rebecca: oh please, I've never met you a day in my life! How is that even possible? Cut it out and tell me, who bit you.

Dan Van Helsing: If you tell us we will offer you fresh blood. what do you say?

Newly bitten vampire: Haha haha ha a vampire hunter offering me blood.

Rebecca: the sooner you tell me the better. spit it out already, who is it?

The newly turned vampire's inner thoughts: does she want me to lie? It was clearly her who bit me. I'll just blame it on the older man. I'm thirsty maybe I can get some fresh blood out of them.

Newly turned vampire: him, yeah, I remember now it definitely had to be him. It was you! That guy, he bit me! It had to be him!

Dan van Helsing: I thought you said it was a young woman.

Rebecca: I'll investigate, sigh this is useless.

Just as she said the figure of a curvy women appeared behind her.

Sayonna Lin: I object.

Dan van Helsing: huh!!

Rebecca van Helsing: Dad, I never knew that we had a bug problem.

Dan van Helsing: a bug problem?

Rebecca: Apparently there's a cockroach in head quarters.

Sayonna Lin: who are you calling a roach.

Rebecca: Sayonna, who else?

Random cockroach on the wall: don't compare me to her.

Sayonna Lin: shut up you dumb roach!!

Dan van Helsing: Language!!

Sayonna Lin: sending the main suspect to investigate is like handing her the materials to fake her innocence. Mr. Van Helsing I believed that you were a great hunter and, My Lin family always spoke about how you would always get justice for the innocent. Were they wrong?

Dan Van Helsing: you're right. Rebecca you can't help with the case. You're free to go out in the morning but, if we see you out at night you'll lose your position in headquarters and will be interrogated.

Sayonna Lin: what!! Is that it I demand an interrogation right now.
