Appointment The orderlies struggled to remove him from the rage of the nameless patient in room 327. Enraged, they then asked Mason what he had told them, but he kept it to himself. Everything finally fell into place. He got to talk to the director again before leaving. The second interview was as brief as the first, which had been used to sign off on a visit for the fictitious George Needs, the identity Mason had provided. He did not mention John Doe or what had happened in 327. He had a lot to do and not much time. Just outside Creedmor Hospital, he reached a pay phone.
