“A yacht baby?” I laughed and swatted his chest. “What about a penthouse baby? A Green Oak mansion baby, huh?”
Alec brought my hand to his lips and kissed it. “All of the above, love. Do you think we're getting any soon?”
I smiled at his question. Then leaned forward and kissed his lips.
We were still entangled in the sheets, naked, while the cool breeze wrapped around us.
“Alec?” I called.
“Yes, love.” He brushed hair strands from my face.
I hesitated. “There's something I–I never told you. I opted for a hormonal IUD because I was overwhelmed after the triplets.”
A beat passed. Something flashed in his eyes and I quickly recognized them— regret, pain.
