    Graham could hear shouting and random shots off to his left, down by the lake-shore timber. Tired of pulling Katie’s arm to compel her to follow him, he halted abruptly, turned and punched her in the abdomen. She doubled over in pain. “Get the idea, woman? I’ll keep hurting you if you don’t do as I say!” Katie moaned, nodding she understood, clutching her midsection. Graham pushed her roughly ahead of him. “Now move!
