Retrieving more marbles from her pocket, Desa tossed them around the corner and let them scatter in the aisle between the pillars. A few men cursed, but nobody tripped. They were advancing slowly; she could hear the footsteps.
“Not gonna work, lady,” one of them shouted.
Closing her eyes, Desa nodded once. She triggered the Force-Sinks that she had Infused into every one of those marbles, ordering them to feast on kinetic energy. None of them were strong enough to stop a man outright, but she didn’t need to stop them. Only to slow them down.
