The Fate of the White Order

"You're so blue Are you still breathing? Won't you tell me if you found that deeper meaning?" - Break my heart again, Finneas Joanne was back in the strip club. It felt eerily quiet, with everyone, even the waitstaff gone. But it was a sense of foreboding that seemed to darken the place even more. 'Why would Mother ask me to leave the White Order?' She couldn't figure out what had made the Queen say that, but she knew time was running out fast. If she left the Order, as the Queen wanted, then the magical powers bestowed upon her would start to weaken. Once that happened, the warriors would heal slower and no longer be able to fight as well as they used to. But Joanne couldn't help feeling there was more the Queen didn't reveal. The soulmate connection was something everyone in the Kingdom was granted. Whether you were born poor, into a wealthy merchant family, or royal like her, the Celestials in the Kingdom had bestowed this on everyone. For a commoner to reject a soulmate connection was akin to defying the Celestials. Once rejected, it was near impossible to find love again. Joanne knew that, but she didn't know that for the Queen of the White Order, it was necessary, a sacrifice to reject the connection. She had always assumed that perhaps the Queen's soulmate died in battle. After all, that seemed to happen with most of the warriors' partners. She sat down amidst the pile of costumes in the backstage and grabbed her head in despair. Thoughts of the dark stranger flooded her head. What did Mother mean when she said her soulmate connection was special? Could she have been delirious? Afterall, she was hurt and dying. A rustling sound made her head snapped back up and her hand immedately went to the knife that was in her boots. "Who's there?" She called out to the darkness. "Reveal yourself or suffer my wrathe!" "Okay, Princess. Didn't mean to startle you. Been waiting for awhile". Out of the shadows, a tall frame stepped out. A pale, handsome face with dark, jet black hair and intense blue-black eyes appeared infront of her. The stranger! Joanne's heart beat faster; he bowed down almost playfully and looked up at her. "I'm your soulmate, and I've found you at last."
