You are aroused

TJ pov.

I was waiting at the front door, waiting for the teleport to open and our mates to come home, I had been good by waiting. looking out into the air, waiting for the changes in the surroundings to see when they were coming home.

“TJ. why are you sitting there, you are going to get cold”

Cyllic put a blanket over my shoulders and picked me up. I struggled to get out of his arms and he realized I didn't want to leave and called for Alex. He came running and saw the commotion, he smiled and took me out of Cyllics arms and sat down on the steps again. With me on top of him.

“Your hands are cold TJ”

He took both of my hands in his and forced me back so I was resting up against his body.

“But Tyrus called and said they were coming home”

I said while pouting. Cyllic came back from inside the house with 3 cups of warm liquid.

“Here my loves”

He said as he was giving us each a cup. Alex was scolding hot coffee and mine was warm morning dew from Cyllics nursery. I sipped the cup and felt myself relax.

“They are coming back, but it will take a while.”

Alex said as he placed the empty cup on the step beside us.

“I know, but I have done a good job and I wanna show her the surprise.”

I was lightly jumping as I remembered the surprise I had readied for her. The others didn't know what I had done in the few days since Tyrus had called and told us that she had Kids. I had pretty much just left the office when the call ended.

“What have you been up to you little demon”

Cyllic asked teasingly.

“It's a surprise!”

And then I felt it, the change in the air, it getting warmer and the air contracting a little. not seconds after, there stood Tyrus with Penelope by his side, his one arm around her hip to steady her for the landing. I jumped up and ran straight to her. slinging my arms around her small body and squeezing her.

“I am so sorry for hurting you”

I looked slightly down and saw her smile back at me, she was smaller than me, and I had always been the shortest around here, but here she was my small mate. She placed her hand on my cheek. I laid myself into her hand and let out a small tear. her soothing touch was really making my head spin.

“It's okay. Tyrus explained that you were angry that I wanted to leave.”

That was it. I grabbed her hand and tossed it around my neck, I pulled her legs up so they were wrapping around my whole body and buried myself into the crook of her shoulder. She didn't resist me, but hugged me back.

“Maybe we should go inside”

I turned around and saw Liam and Gabe in the door. I didn't actually want to let her go, so I started walking with her around me.

Liam pov

Watching TJ and Pennelope get along again, and him being possessive and wanting her around him was warming my heart. I knew we have alot of catching up and alot of talking to do, but TJ had been killing himself to torture himself for hurting her with his temper. Walking into the living room, we all took a seat except TJ.

“Sit down Love”

Gabe said as he himself sat down on the sofa and sloughed up against Alex.

“Don't wanna”

he said under his breath pouting. Penelope looking at him smiled.

“Put me down”

She said, and he did without struggling but still pouting. She sat down on the sofa and spread her legs, she tapped the cushion between them and smiled towards TJ.

“Here”

She said and he pretty much just launched at her. He sat straight between her legs, when she grabbed his shoulders and pulled him back, he was lying on her chest and she stroked his hair.

‘“we need to talk”

she started, TJ looked up at her and grabbed her hand, took it to his cheek and held it there with both of his hands as he was afraid she would vanish again.

“I'm not going anywhere, not right now”

I could feel King surfacing as she said those words, she looked at me struggling to contain him and smiled a bit.

“I have to go home to my kids at some point”

She stated and all of us did a little shifting in our seats as she just confirmed the children's part.

“We do need to talk”

Cyllic started. He took a deep cleansing breath and repositioned himself as his arms were resting on his knees.

“I want to start with, I'm sorry Pen. Im so f*****g sorry for not thinking anything through. we were horny and wanted to release before you woke up so that we did not disturpe you with our”

He gestured to our reproduction area. She giggled a bit and stroked TJs hair with one hand and still the other on his cheek.

“I get that, Tyrus has started to explain a few things, as long as I asked a question. But I realized that all of you had to get a chance to answer too”

I let out a sigh with her words, this was the woman we met at the hotel that day, strong and fearless, taking the pull one step at a time.

“about the hotel. how did you end up on the myth floor?”

I ask when remembering the conversation Gabe and I had in the hall. she shrugged her shoulders.

“I was a little confused about that. The man at the counter asked what floor I wanted to go too after taking a deep breath, it looked like he was going to piss himself. I just said 8 because its my favorite number”

she said, her favorite number, just like that, it was a nice feeling knowing her favorite number, anything favorite even.

“he took a deep breath?”

Gabe asked, and stoop up. he went over behind the sofa and took in a deep breath behind her. he shook his head

“All I smell is your sent”

He was confused and left the room, shortly after coming in with the head butler.

“Theo, would you mind taking in a breath of penelopes sent?”

Gabe asked, Theo went over behind the sofa and inhaled. He stiffened, paled and submitted right there behind her.

“s**t”

Gabe said, Penelope confused.

“You slept badly?”

she asked concerned about Theo, he shook his head, still pale as a sheet and of what I could smell scared as hell too.

“No Queen, I slept quiet well”

He stated, not really wanting to talk, but compelled to do so because of his job. And he rocked his job.

“why are you asking him that my sun”

Cyllic asked her, a little annoyed about the fact that she was showing compassion to another man other than us.

“because he is doing that thing with his neck”

She asked, Alex TJ and Tyrus dying from laughter. them not even being able to breath probably, I myself had to choke a laugh.

“Its a submission”

Gabe said to her, sitting on his knees in front of her and TJ. resting his hands on TJs knees and his chin on his hands, looking up lovingly on both of them. TJ sat up and placed a kiss on Gabes lips before slipping down into the embrace of Penelope again. Then the smell of arousal hit us all, i smirked a bit, knowing that if any of us had been aroused we would all feel it, but this sweet scent of sugar mixed with cinnamon was definitely her.

“Pen, not that I don't love that smell, but it is hard enough for us to hold back as it is, without you being horny”

I face slapped myself by what Curt had said. He had a way with words, one that was brutally honest.

“What smell?”

she said as she was sniffing the air, then under her arms and then her hair.

“Your arousal”

Tyrus said, shifting in his chair to hide his massive hardon. Now all of us had one and it was driving us insane.

“my what now?”

She was a bit freaked out. I could see on TJs face that she was reacting negatively at it, by him freezing up and not moving in any way possible for her to interpret that he was going to hurt her again. We were all trying to figure out how to explain the whole situation when Theo had observed and took the reins.

“My queen, When a mate is aroused and not bound by the marking, the other mates can smell it. It is something that is used so the mates can understand and get the bond of trust and love mending.”

She looked as he continued to explain.

“When marked, the arousal one mate is feeling, the rest of the mates will feel. Like dominos. You not being marked means that your mates will smell that you are aroused, and give them a hint of the idea that you are starting to accept them as your mates.”

she nodded her head and TJ had slowly started to relax in her embrace again. Him being able to feel a small hint of her emotions through bodily contact they were sharing.

“So im guessing, when you saw two of your mates kissing, you felt a pull towards that bond they are sharing, and therefore felt aroused?”

Theo asked, trying to help us out with all of this. Theo himself had 3 female mates and was used to their way of thinking, even if he had tried to explain to us that it was really not that different from our thoughts. More like the choice of words having to change a bit.

Penelope pov

As I was listening to the butler explain, I realized that I was probably in the wrong this time, or maybe none of us was.

“I will take my leave now my King”

He said towards Liam, who was trying hard not to let out King, he waved him out and looked back at me.

“Sorry”

I said, and looked down into TJs hair, knowing he was a demon was funny when he literally was the picture of an angel, Yellow blond hair, dark blue round eyes like the deep sea. I felt like I could fall into them and be there the rest of my life. My thoughts were brought to an end when I felt my head being slowly pushed up. staring up at Liam behind me, with dark almost black eyes, they were sad.

“Don't you dare, apologize for being an aroused little mate, I would have this toture going on everyday for the rest of my life if it meant you being here with us. Safe”

At those words it was like all weight was lifted from my chest, I laid my head against his hands and slowly drifted off into a sound and soft sleep. One I had not experienced in 2 years. The last thing I feel is the tingles from touching Tyrus carrying me, and me resting into his chest and taking in his relaxing smell of new cut grass.
