I looked at myself in the mirror: red and swollen, with dark circles under my eyes and pale skin. I was simply a ghost of myself.
With a sigh, I turned on the water in the sink rinsed my face, and then moved on to makeup and try to improve the catastrophic situation of my face.
It had been four days, only four days, since my decision to end any kind of relationship I had with Rowan.
Four days since I decided that he and I couldn't have a future.
Four days of pure agony.
He wrote to me and apologized, but I was a lady. I had decided to shut everything down.
But that didn't take away from the fact that it hurt the dog.
I'd get up in the morning and go to work, all automatically, come home and fall asleep crying, wake up with a zombie and repeat it all over again.
