Antanasia Journal - Day 30
It's been a month since my arrival here. At this point, I don't think I can tell you where I am or How I got here. I was laying on my bed with only an old blanket as a cover. It was cold, we only had two meals per day but the first one only had a small piece of bread and the second, if we were lucky and obedient, something more nutritive.
As I was laying there, watching the room filled with bunker beds and everyone sitting on them, waiting for them to come and get me, I remembered the first night I came in, I was so delusional as I still believed my parents were going to save me.
Oh, how naive I was.
D-Day - Antanasia's POV
The ball finally ended. It's so boring to attend this kind of thing when the only thing you are allowed to is to breathe and barely. I was sitting in my chair, Mariah just finished brushing my hair and all I was thinking about was when I could finally get some sleep. I had to wake up tomorrow and sneak out to practice my magic since in this house they barely allowed me to do so and especially when you know that in the Gelidus* kingdom, even young witches that just started their lessons in the coven, knew more spells than me.
So, I had to find myself someone who could help me. I was told since I was young that I was a witch, but unlike my genius oldest sister, I wasn't very powerful. I knew they were wrong as I always felt this power inside me, I just didn't know how to use it. So, I just kept my mouth shut. My eyes were slowly closing as I fall asleep.
Andrei POV
"We will move at 03:00, be ready. She will be a great asset so don't hurt her" he said to the extraction team.
Three men who accompany him on this kind of mission in case something went south. One of them had the ability to open a portal directly to their place, so it was easier to travel? The other two were merely muscles, a werewolf, and a warlock*.
Sergei: "It's time. I will open a portal as soon as you put the collar around her neck"
"Good. We'll use the usual strategy, she's strong but she doesn't know much defense spells. Tom, you go from the front, she'll try to fight you so that will distract her. Matt, you put the collar and you knock her down. Be gentle, we don't want to put a scare on a face like that" Said Andrei while clapping his hands "Let's go"
We quietly followed the map that was given to us by Daphne, we then arrived right in front of the little princess's room.
"Let's go," said Andrei as they entered the room.
Antanasia POV
It was very faint, but I heard a sound that woke me up immediately. I knew they were preparing something, but it was way faster than I expected. I opened one eye trying to assess the situation and how I could get out of this. If I'm not wrong, they aren't expecting me to put a fight so I could use that against them. As I was observing discreetly the room, I saw a shadow coming straight to my bed. I grabbed the knife under my pillow and got ready. It wasn't their first assassination attempt.
"I hope you know it won't be easy to kill me," said Antanasia as she stood up "I will fight you as I did with the ones before you and it might not kill you, but I promise to do my best to hurt you" she added with all the confidence she had in her body.
"But who said we wanted you dead my little princess? Oh, how I will enjoy breaking you. Once I'm done with you, you will not be able to recognize yourself anymore, that's a promise " said the killer with the creepiest smile I've ever seen. "I feel like you'll become our client's favorite" he added.
"Get her" he added, I guess he was talking to the goons who were with him.
Not long after, they attacked, and even with the defensive I learned, the last thing I remember is a clic sound of something that was put around my neck and that men's disgusting smile.
It was the 7th of July when I opened my eyes in a room with dozens of eyes watching me. At that I wasn't aware that I had no chance against them, but when I understood that, it was too late, I was already here.
