Chapter Twenty-Five
Chay sat in her hotel room going over her run-of-show schedule for the umpteenth time. She had lost another two dancers and at this rate, she and Jill might have to strap on Capezios and join the girls on stage.
Debbie had brought her the news of the arrest; that Sara and Joyce were gone. And so was their aerial dance sequence. So now Chay was in the process of going through all the dance numbers, where either of the girls had a prominent role. Chay shuffled around dancers and the order of appearances trying to come up with a workable show. She was surprised when she heard a key rattle in the lock of her hotel room door.
The door swung open and Rex stepped into the room. In the hallway behind, Chay could see two men uniformed holding short ugly automatic weapons.
