Camilas POV.
After yesterday's stunt, all I wanted was to go home, wrap myself in a hot bath, and sleep.
But Mrs Montclair had other plans. She insisted I stay in the guest bedroom and I could leave the next morning. She was so furious, I have never seen her like that. Remind me not to get in Mrs Montclair's bad books.
I couldn't sleep, I don't know if it was the bed or because the environment was unfamiliar, but I tossed and turned all through the night, and then when I finally gave up and got up to get a glass of water I overheard Mrs Montclair and her son talking, past her study.
I didn't mean to eavesdrop. But the fury in her voice made me stop.
