Killing everyone in Fingers with a surprise attack is not a difficult task for Nakano. She has a bow and quiver planted inside the room, as well as Yaklu who is always ready for anything. The two of them are more than enough for the job. However, the Empress can’t do it. More accurately, she won’t do it. Even as the absolute monarch, when every decision she makes can affect thousands of lives, Nakano is not a monster who can just go stabby-stab-stab on anyone who MIGHT pose a threat to her. The Empress glances over to her Court Wizard, and he subtly nods. So be it. They will have to try Yaklu’s plan, and put faith in Eden and his team, even if that means she might create a new threat to the Empire in the future.
