The Beginning:The Six Tribes

676 Words
Long ago, no mortals lived in the world. Only immortals inhabited the land. To maintain the balance of nature, the Creator, the Supreme God who created all things, sent down something from the heavens. One day, an object resembling a meteor crashed to the earth with tremendous force. Upon impact, it shattered into six stones, which are now guarded by the six tribes of Arkadia. Each of the six tribes was chosen to protect one of these sacred stones: Teranova, Thalassia, Aeralis, Voltaris, Pyrrathis, and Noctyra. Teranova is the homeland of the Earth Tribe, led by Borak Stonefield, the current guardian of the Earth Gem. Borak has a massive, rock-like physique and is always seen carrying his mighty hammer. He is patient and composed, but when it comes to defending his people, he never hesitates to fight. Teranova resembles the Garden of Eden. Its forests are lush and breathtaking, with towering waterfalls, majestic trees, colorful flowers, butterflies fluttering through the air, and animals living peacefully across the land. Aside from wielding the Earth Gem, Borak has the power to control the earth itself. Every Terranovian possesses some form of earth manipulation, though each individual's abilities depend on the natural gifts inherited from their parents. A lake in Teranova connects to the waters leading toward Thalassia. Thalassia is home to the Water Tribe and is ruled by Serenya Maris. Serenya is quiet and calm, yet incredibly dangerous when provoked—like the ocean itself: peaceful on the surface but devastating in its fury. She has long, wavy crimson hair that flows like the sea. In addition to controlling the Water Gem and manipulating water, Serenya possesses a unique ability exclusive to the Thalassians: with nothing but her voice, she can compel others to obey her will. Thalassia is a breathtaking coastal kingdom. Its people wear garments adorned with pearls, and many Thalassian women use pearls alone as part of their attire. At the edge of the kingdom stands a towering bridge connecting Thalassia's shoreline to Aeralis. Aeralis is the realm of the Air Tribe, led by Elyndra. The Aeralians possess not only the power to command the wind but also the gift of foresight through visions and premonitions. In Elyndra's case, these visions appear even while she is awake whenever the winds choose to reveal the future to her. Unlike the other tribes, Aeralis is governed by two authorities: the Council and the Guardian of the Air Gem. Because power is shared between them, important decisions are often divided between the two governing bodies. Bordering Aeralis is Voltaris, the homeland of the Lightning Tribe. Its immortal inhabitants, known as Voltarians, are led by Kael, the current guardian of the Lightning Gem. Kael is arrogant and holds himself in the highest regard. Such pride is common among Voltarians because they believe they were the first race created by the Creator, making them superior to all others. Deep beneath the earth, near the caves of Teranova, lies a passage leading to Pyrrathis. Pyrrathis is home to the Fire Tribe, whose people are known as the Pyrrha. They are ruled by Draven Pyrrathis, the guardian of the Fire Gem. Draven is fiercely ambitious. He fights for the rights and glory of his people and dreams of a future in which the Pyrrha race rules over all of Arkadia. At the farthest corner of Arkadia lies Noctyra, the realm of darkness. Its immortal inhabitants are called Noctarians, and they are led by Nyxara Veyra, the current guardian of the Shadow Gem. The Noctarians are infamous for their manipulative nature and their ability to exploit the negative emotions of others. This is Nyxara's greatest advantage over the other guardians—she defeats her enemies not only with power, but with strategy and psychological manipulation. These are the six tribes that have lived in Arkadia. For more than thirty years, the realm has known peace and harmony. But everything is about to change because of one man's ambition...
