13. Varakiana I never knew you could cry your tears dry — a bit like dry heaving after your stomach is well and truly empty — but eventually they stopped flowing, even though I was still sobbing. The pulling sensation in my chest, caused by the sobs, slowly subsided and I was left with a terrible ache in my stomach and chest.
