Chapter Twenty One Jenny wrote Pat a letter. It said, I want you to know that I am deeply ashamed of what I did. You may think this is just another tactic on my part, and if you do I won’t blame you, but it is not. If you never speak to me again I will understand. The only excuse I can make is that being here for five months has twisted my mind.
