Sasha was crying in Cain's arms. She was hurt deeply. The last time she cried was when Sonia betrayed her by lying to Anthony about the attack on Corazon, and when Anthony was seeking to end her life. She was hurt because her mate wanted her dead and because she was behind it from the start.Now she was crying because her friend, whom she took more like a brother, wanted to send her back to Corazon because of his second mate, Emily.
"Sasha please, don't cry. Listen to me first", Cain said softly while petting Sasha and trying to stop her from crying.
"It's not that I'm getting rid of you. I only want you to return back to Corazon with Anthony. I have my reasons and it's different from Emily's. Emily's reason is understandable, compared to the years she has spent with Anthony as his Luna.
