I groan when I find Alex home.
"I figured I should try to put a smile on your face after what I did. I admit it. That was not cool. And I know I suck at apologies. But I thought I can cook you something."
I groan, sitting on the kitchen island while he's busy frying spicy chicken. He knows I love spicy chicken.
"Well, nothing you do can make me smile right now."
"I know I messed up and-"
"It's not you, Alex." I sigh. "I just got suspended."
He stops to look at me.

"Harvey just suspended me."
"Why?"
"Because of some stupid complaints from some stupid staff."
"What complaints?"
"He didn't tell me."
