Chapter 16: I lose, Skye
I felt awkward with his presence by the time we got off the jeepney, so I walked past him and didn't thank him for accompanying me. My heart is fluttering, which is dangerous. I couldn't possibly be falling for him, could I? Seducing him was just a game I started. And here I am, parang ako ang matatalo sa larong ito.
"Skye!" He yelled.
Hindi ko siya nilingon, basta diretso ang lakad ko papasok ng malawak na bakuran namin. I was about to open the door when he grabbed my hand. Ni hindi ko narinig ang yabag niya papalapit sa akin.
"Could we please talk?" His eyes are pleading.
"I'm already avoiding you because you told me to, ano pa ba ang gusto mong gawin ko?" I said with a slight ache in my heart. Why is this happening to me? Bakit ako nasasaktan?
