All I hear was mumbling around me. My mind trying to process words that it knew. Everything was jumbled, sounding far away.

Are you ever going to wake up? One of the voices said to me.

I ignored the voice and tried to focus on Kiah. I could hear him calling to me and I wanted to answer him. I couldn't understand why my body wouldn't answer him.

We are blocking you from answering your wolf mate. We need you focused on you and what is happening to your body. You're becoming a hybrid. I am your wolf Brighid and am the only spirit of my kind left. I was called to you when you were young. But, you know this, as you have never been able to call to me till now. My powers are vast, but I am not the only one within you.

My name is Bela. I am your vampire. I have been called to you because of your ancestry. I should not be here with you. But you need my strength and speed to defeat your foes. Your aunt asked me as she passed to protect you. She saw me inside of you. I will do as she asks because of who she was and you carry her power within you now. Your necromancy powers will be immense because I am with you.

We are one now and you need to learn how to develop all of our powers in a short amount of time. War is upon you.

They disappeared into their prospective rooms of my mind and let me control myself once more. I could hear the conversation around me now. I could hear Kiah's worry, could feel his stress, and above all I could hear his wolf calling mine.
