Two Weeks Later...
The clean air in the cybersecurity room was as though it was filled with yesterday’s coffee. The room was a blank slate. It was right in the middle of Harrison Enterprises’ office building.
It was an online battlefield where Grant’s team had been battling for two weeks.
The memories Grant had of him and Vanessa in that restaurant in the hoax picture now seemed to belong to another man. It was anger that had now replaced the pain the photo had caused him and Maddison…It was clean and cold anger that wiped out the fog of disloyalty.
A definite line had been drawn in Grant’s mind to fight back. They no longer simply guarded against possible attack. They hunted.
