Ace p.o.V:
After coming out from Calix room | thought, 'How can he think she'll accept him. She already likes someone. And that someone is Wil, my friend. I've stopped Sam many times from approaching Wil. | don't know whether I can carry on with this. Because she's so persistent. | can't explain this to Calix either, he likes her so
much.
Sam is the reason for him to smile again...So I'm not giving up on this. ‘Don't
worry brother, | got your back’
The next day at school, | turned to look at Sam, she was staring at Wil like usual. |
looked into my book and thought; Just
stopping Sam from Wil won't make any
progress, | have to do something on this.
The classes got over. | know Calix will follow Sam on her way back home. So | followed Sam without my brother
conscious.
| removed my jerkin and my bag and kept them in the car and wear a mask covering
my nose and mouth.
| made sure Calix was walking behind Sam
every minute.
| stood in the alley and dragged her into it.
| closed her mouth with one hand and held
her both hands with my other hand. I'm pretending to be a bad guy and gonna wait
for Calix to come to rescue her.
In the meantime, she bit me.

| took my hand in the reflex of pain.
She punched me in the stomach using her fist and kicked me in the knee. | lost my
balance and fell.
Calix came towards us and helped me to stand. | thought he's gonna help but he
punched me too!!!
| heard Sam thanking him.
Wait.
The name she mentioned was not like
Calix.
But was... Wil?
| blinked my eyes and saw again.
It was Wil.
How did he come here? | was confused.
They left me here and went.
Where the hell is Calix?
| messaged him, "Where are you?"
"I'm on the way to the library. I'll come
home late. Inform mom for me. Bye."

Sam p.0.v:
"Thanks for helping me back there."
Will, "It's okay. gotta go now. Get back
home safe.”

belonging to the man who attacked me
earlier. This pen drive seems so familiar’. |
put it back into my bag and went home.
The next day at school, Clara said, "This is a good progress! Treat him. So that you
can talk more with him."
| nodded with a smile.
During the lunch break, everyone went to Cafetaria. | said that | have some errands
to do, so I'll join them later.
Ace was still in the class looking into his phone. | looked around the class. There
are not many people in here.
stood and went to where he is seated. He
was still looking into his phone. | placed the Pendrive which | got from the man
who attacked me on the table.
| started, "I know I'm not your type? What
were you trying to do back then?"
He remained silent.
| continued, "Anyways, Thank you for that! because of that, | spoke to him. And more to that... He rescued me... And I take this
as compensation for what you did before."
| was walking on the way back home thinking tomorrow is Valentine's day but | haven't bought anything for Wil. What
should | buy for him?
Suddenly someone poked me on the shoulder from behind, | turned around. It
was Wil.
"Hi!"
"Hey!", saying with a wide smile on my
face.
Wil said, "| would as well come with you."
He started to walk along with me. | looked
at him in a confused way.
He continued, "I'll follow you in case that
suspicious one may show up again!"
| smiled and said, "Thanks for that...but |
think he won't."
"And why is that?"
‘Because he won't come after his identity
is known. | thought.
| showed my fist saying, "Because after getting a punch from me, he must have understood this is not the girl who you
want to mess up with!" and laughed.
He too laughed.
Seeing him smiling like that | thought, ‘I want to be there beside him and be the reason for all his smiles.’ Sorry. If I'm too cheesy. Hahaha. Beside him, | think and
speak like an i***t.
| thought if | hang out with him, | can find what he likes and present it to him
tomorrow.
| asked, "Hey! | still didn't thank you yet! Do
you want anything in return?"
He took a glimpse at his phone and said,
"Let's have hotpot!"
"Hotpot?"
"Yes! I'm hungry", he caressed his
stomach.
| burst into a laugh and said, "I know the
best place for the best hotpot!"
He nodded like a child.
We too walked to that place. It was an outdoor restaurant. | ordered a hotpot for
two people.
"You always come with girls! Who is this handsome boy? | haven't seen him before with you. Is he your boyfriend?", My friend
who is working there teased me.
"He's my classmate.'! grinned and smiled.
He said, "A Friend."
| don't why but it hurts a little. But it's okay.
I'm his friend now.
The hotpot came. The smell made me
forget who I'm with and started to dig in.
He smiled.
| love this smile of his. | can see his smile all day. How can be handsome and cute at
the same time?
We began to eat. He said about his club. |
shared mine.
He finished the hotpot before me. How did he finish so fast? | know. | eat slowly when
it comes to my favourite food.
He waited for me to finish mine.
We then left that place and began to walk. Out of curiosity, | asked him what kind of thing he likes if someone presents something. He said that anything is fine until it's from whom we're receiving from.
Wow. That was so cute.
Before we parted in our ways, "I like hanging out with you! We'll do this often.", he said and left.
Am | dreaming?!?!
He said something sweet...All | did was stood there and nodded my head and started to walk on my way back home
without a word.
At home, | looked at what | bought for him. | wrapped it cutely. | placed it on the table and went back to sleep waiting for
tomorrow.
