A few hours passed midnight, and Mikayla woke up. She was lying on the bed all alone because Killian slept in the other room. She couldn’t go back to sleep, so she sat up and leaned back on the headboard. She sighed, feeling sleepiness left her eyes. It was literally 3 am, what was she going to do in odd hour? Mikayla decided to get out of the bed and walked out of the room. She walked down the stairs slowly, almost tip-toeing, so she didn’t make a sound, aware that Killian was home.
