Killian and Mikayla had gotten ready to go somewhere for business. It was Killian’s but he asked her to come along because he wanted to introduce her to his business environment. They were wearing casual clothes for comfort.
“Where are we going though?” she asked, trying to get as much information as possible. She wouldn’t know, he would be dropping her in another jungle.
“Picking up meat and fish for the restaurants,” he replied.
“You pick them up yourself?” she questioned in surprise knowing he had a lot of employees, but he decided to do the pick up himself? That was suspicious.
“Of course. I make sure the delivery went smoothly,” he said. Then, he opened the backdoor of the car and let her in first. Harper was the one who drove them to the pickup point.
