Today was the send off party of Ken. Mum got our dresses made by herself, since she was a seamstress. The dresses were peculiar, mine was a floor length peach lacera and pink lace Ankara dress.It hugged me like a second skin. I did my make up, I was pretty good yeah. Mum paid for my hair do and nails and she even bought the peach coloured shoes I wore with the dress.
I was seriously out to impress, maybe when Ken sees me, he'll change his mind on that bullshit he told me. Mum on the other hand, was fabulous, her dress was alike to mine just she went all black with silver shoes and jewelry. I've never been a fan of jewelry though, so my ears and neck we're just plain.
Mum hasn't still told Ken about our decision yet, I guess, because he has approached me on that.
