Despite the mild chastisement and adulting, it was nice to spend the night in my old room. When my moms were busy or if Jaxie was lonely, I would stay with Aunt Talia, and Aunt Lexi. It would be fair to call me a semi-permanent fixture of the royal darken fae court.
The staff treated me like any other member of the Queen’s family. I was pampered and well-tended to by all the fae in the keep. Many beings often snub their noses at me and Jaxie, calling us clueless princesses in our silver towers.
“Thanks for everything, Mildred.”
I said, and she turned purple in her blue face. Mildred was a born icy water nymph. She was slender and awkward looking by humanoid standards, with short black hair, and blue eyes. She was gangly and almost seven-feet-tall.
“Don’t THANK me, Duchess!”
