She moved on with her life, and busied herself with as much work as she could possibly handle, so that she didn't have to deal with her own emotions. Every day was basically the same, went to work, got home, hang out with friends, sleep. Just to break this boring pattern she took on an extra job as a dance instructor, she was once competing in ballroom dances, so she thought she might as well try for national competition, but thinking some more about it, she still wanted a family, and ballroom dance is way to expensive sport for short runs. So she just stuck to being a dance instructor. But Kayla had many talents. Instead writing a diary she wrote songs, about heartbreak, life, it was like a diary to her, all of her true emotions, dreams and fears, written in these songs. one day when she was out on the town with her friends, she ran to an childhood friend of hers Jace. They practically grew up together. Their families were spending summers together, and she fantasized that she would be with him one day. He was tall, handsome, funny like she remembered him. Little did she knew that this encounter is gonna change her life forever!
