I jolted out of that wicked place quicker than ever. Mr. Le Doux didn’t know that I had figured out that he was something - not a human. I didn’t give him a hint and acted calmly when he came inside the room. When he asked me what I was doing there, inside his bedroom, I replied that I was lost and I couldn’t find a way back. I didn’t confront him, I didn’t act on my thoughts and I didn’t panic as that would lead to worse things. Mr. Le Doux was not who he was saying he was.  My hand gripped on the steering wheel of my car and I drove away from the house as soon as I could.
